Blacksheep Series Champion 2008.
With the victory at the Burton Leonard 10k came the added bonus of taking the Series Championship. I was trying to win the race with at least effort as possible but yet again it turned out to be quite a hard effort around this tough multi-terrain course. I am pretty sure i have just taken another huge step in the direction of being burnt out. So August is looking good for a month of no racing.
Even the dog has finished its season early this year due to the fact its not wanted to come out running most of the week. This happened for about a month or more last year so i'm just hoping it's just having its annual tired phase, and it will come back with full enthusiasm in September. The good news is a Hedgehog has decided to take up residence in the garden over the last three weeks, i've already warned the dog if it doesn't buck up its ideas soon i might have a new prickly training partner. I even made it a hoghouse so it had better hurry up and get itself from under the shed and into its new luxury home, especially as i've missed out on some good training. As of yet its not even had the decency to go for a viewing.
