Winning comes in cans.

After the twenty one miler on Friday I thought I would be stiff as hell for a few days but then the next day my legs actually felt ok, but as I was away for the weekend I took advantage and rested anyway. To make up for doing nothing over the weekend I made today a touch harder than normal by starting with a 7 mile run to work followed by a 7 mile cycle home and then finished the day off with a 10 mile hard tempo run. Just remember " Winning comes in cans not can'ts." I must admit it took me ten minutes to get upto speed for the final run but now I can relax and enjoy a steady 14 miles tomorrow before cranking it up for some more speed work Wednesday.
I have many ideas but they don't all fit together, it's like having a few pieces from different jigsaws and trying to fit them together. My notion of fully focusing on the Marathon but enjoying more time for lager and wine, also getting down to race weight but not looking like a scrawny weed, plus the idea of wanting be the fastest V40 in Britain but I'm never going to be the best in the world so I might as well enjoy as many cakes and fry ups as I like. One thing though ! I am fit and healthy so I can't complain.

You have to watch out for some CANS as they are CAN'TS disguised as CANS. I hope this has cleared up the misunderstndigs if not I CAN'T help.
