Treading in the right direction.

All training at present is still going to plan. Testing on the treadmill at the gym indicates i'm still improving , just need to get 35 miles in this weekend and then i should be on my way to getting ready to go full steam at Burton Leonard 10k. I'm still feeling keen also to go full speed ahead for my last race of the season the James Herriot Trail Race , especially knowing it will be my last race for at least six weeks. I desperately need to get back into stretching exercises twice aday, with racing too much and not training enough i end up doing no stretching routines. At the moment i need a couple of miles to get moving properly , but after months of winter stretching i know how much i benefit , especially when i seem to bounce down the road like a gazelle where as at the moment i feel more like a donkey. So a good new years resolution for next year would be to carry on stretching through spring and summer. It's not if it's hard work either, you can do it watching T.V.
My trusted training pal has indicated she's looking forward to Saturday's 22 mile long run across Kepwick moor by a wag of a tail at the mention off an off road run. The dog says its fed up watching the races and is ready to get back training.
