New Year, same goal.

  The training over the Christmas period  may of been a bit of a let down but the 5km test run come the New Year certainly wasn't. 18 minutes and 10 seconds which carved off 19 seconds compared to my last test run. Which lines me up nicely to get under the 18 minute mark for my next test.
  I have still only managed one speed training session in the last 4 weeks so by my calculations some speed work should help me shift around a minute off my 5k time and a stone loss in weight should see me shift another a minute, which should get me in the medals at the nationals. Easier said than done that is for sure.
