Just as i was thinking about getting started on this years winter training programme and how i could make it more interesting i received a phone call from the TV programme The Gladiators. I have made it through to the audition stage at Manchester on the 24th September. So i returned to the gym for the first time in six months, a month earlier than i had planned but non the less i couldn't get in there quick enough to get cracking at topping up 70 miles of running, 80 miles biking with some heavy weight training. Those 20 stone Gladiators have had it too easy too long, so they'd better watch out the mighty 10 stone Garyator is coming. Even if i don't make it through to the next round at least it will give me something to talk about for a while.
Anyway i must dash i've tied a pillow to each end of the washing line prop, only fools don't train for war in times of peace, Contenders Ready !!!!!!!!
