Ten To Zero in No Time.

I knew it ! My plan of running 10 miles steady today faded to a 5 mile recovery run by lunch time and by the time I set off from work to go home a rest day it was to be. I might of found yesterday's 22 miles not so bad but my quads new about it today. Just as you would expect after not doing a long run for some time but I will be back to it again tomorrow as I tackle the run to work and the extended journey back again.
Sunday I will be venturing away from home as I plan to go and recce the Gisbrough Moors Fell Race Route. This winter I plan to recce most of the fell race routes that are run on the North Yorkshire Moors, I'll start with Gisbrough Moors route as I need some mileage then I will have to try and merge a couple of the other routes together to get the mileage I want. The change of scenery every other week should help make this winter more enjoyable than the last few years. Around three hours or 18 miles of fell running is enough for me any more than that and I think I will turn into a long distance plodder.
Roll on Sunday !

Hang in there - am impressed at the 22 miler with no marathon in sight! How far do you go for your longest training runs? Can't imagine feeling okay doing those miles - will have to trust it'll come eventually. Be kind to those trusty quads, RB.
