Twenty Plenty

Twenty miles of steady running was enough for today's training as there was no way I could of managed the full marathon distance with the way my legs felt after two hours. I will now have to resort to some more cross training tomorrow whilst once again I wait for my legs to recover. On a positive note at least I have got a good long run in the bank ready for the up and coming Burn Valley Half Marathon in three weeks time.
I was reading about not doing as many races and to concentrate on being at your best for a few important races per year but that idea was quickly dismissed as being boring. A few races a year ? I was thinking two races a week was not enough never mind a bloody year.
