I have not run now for three days and my ankle feels much better today but I will give it a few more days yet before I give it an easy test run, this time I'm not doing any running until I can run pain free. I don't mind one bit using the cycling machine and stepping machine at the gym and I would go as far as to say I really enjoy it so it's not as if I'm getting bored out of my skull without doing any running.
It almost feels like summer now with temperatures getting as high as 9 degrees which should make running outdoors quite pleasant now compared to the nasty -16 degrees before Christmas which ruined alot of peoples training. I priced up some train tickets to London for the London Marathon but it's too early to book any yet so I used the end of March to try and get an idea of the price. For two adults and one child return with a family rail card I found prices from £54 to £150 in total. I will also down load the App for my sons Ipod touch for the London underground, you just put in where you are and where you're going and it gives you all the info you need. It's mainly for the Saturday before the race to collect my race number from the Excel Centre, I would of thought it would be easy enough but some people have told me it's a nightmare.
