The bank holiday weekend ruined my training just as it was coming along nicely as well. My average weekly running mileage for this year was already at a mere 22 miles before doing nothing for almost a week so I should of got it down to 20 miles by now. Anyway I tried a 5km time trial this morning and after comparing my time on a race comparison table I should be in 35 minute 40 second shape for 10k. The Rainton 10k which I have now only 2 weeks to get ready for should see me aiming to try and run under 36 minutes 30 seconds considering the course.
I haven't entered any other races at the moment but I'm keen to have a go at something just so long as it's under 10 miles. The Wetherby 10k is looking good for September so I just need something for July come August.
