FG Factor.

    It's been a long time now since I have felt the Feel Good Factor that comes with weekly improvements but just recently that has returned. I can't say I have been doing any extra running training, just my usual two to three sessions a week and nothing over forty minutes but for some strange reason things appear to be coming along nicely. In today's 10k time trial I carved a massive ninety seconds off the time I set myself two weeks ago with a time of 36 mins 01 seconds, I tried my bloody hardest to go sub 36 minutes with an extra long all out effort to the finishing line but the time slipped away from me so I had to settle for a low 36 minuter. My target now is to try a knock another minute off by the time of the Rainton 10k in four weeks time, I won't be doing any extra training running wise and I will be absolutely amazed if I can manage to get anywhere near my Rainton race time from last year.
  Hopefully it will be red hot like it has been this week as I feel that I cope better with the heat than a lot of other runners, it might not help with my race time but an extra place or two further up the field would be much appreciated.
