Charged up and ready to go.

I'm now ready to get back to racing and actualy feeling very keen to do so. All the training as gone well and i just need my turbo refitting and hopefully i should fair ok in my first race back. It usually takes me about 3 races to get fully back into the full speed ahead mode , knowing i'll make it to the finish line without the legs or lungs packing in. Another couple of weeks and i'm off to find a race i can get stuck into.
The Edinburgh Marathon seems to be coming round a bit to quick. Not long ago it seemed like i had for ever to get the training in and now it seems like a squeeze to get everything in. I've got my hands on some top secret track sessions for improving speed ready for the marathon but i will have to convert the metres to minutes seeing as i haven't got a track to train on. Many thanks to my secret agent, many older runners might remember this crazy extra long distance runner who goes by the name of Keith Richardson.
The dog was sporting its new hair do around the 22 miler around Kepwick today. The last couple of miles was certainly tough enough and i had to battle hard to beat the dog home. To be honest the dog had done an extra 5 miles running round in circles chasing birds around on Kepwick moor.
