Afterburner sent for servicing.

I don't know why, but after that Cross Country Race which i didn't do to well in, i now feel i have my enthusiasm and motivation to get back to full fitness. So come three weeks time at the next cross country race hopefully i will be heading in the right direction and the after burners will be ready for re-ignition.
I must of wasted hours on thinking why the sudden drastic loss of form and probably just as much earlier in the year thinking when is something going to happen after months of hard training. Then all of a sudden everything seems to click back into place. The months in the good zone are too easily forgotten i think.
I'm already looking forward to the freezing cold long run this weekend, that's if the -10 Degrees weather report is right, two and half hours in that temperature should be enough hopefully.
Not long to go now and that big four zero number is approaching fast, maybe i'll have to have a go at a few of the Vets races whilst i'm a young forty year old...At least being a Vet you get a new boost of motivation every five years as you become the youngest of the next age group. It will be a bit of an oxymoron saying i'm one of the young eighty year olds.
