British Masters XC - Almost Ready

The training is getting easier week by week now that I'm improving slowly but steadily. I could of done with a fast 10k race to run as a test to see how much i have improved over the last month or is it better not to know. I'm looking forward to the NYSD Cross Country Race at Richmond a week come Sunday as a preparation race for the British Master Cross Country Race the week after, i feel i should be in top form by then or there abouts and with no pressure on how well i should do everything is starting to look good.
Tonight's visit to the gym went well, i went back to lifting what i did way back in September before the Gladiators Audition and I'm now capable of lifting the same amount but at least twice the number of repetitions.
The Up and Running shops in the Local area should be a good place to visit especially if you need any advice. With two of the top runners in the country to help you out (Martin Scaife - Darlington and Darran Bilton - Harrogate) you shouldn't put another foot wrong.
The weight battle went well this week with one and half pounds of fat burnt off, only another four pounds to go for my Marathon Race weight of 9 stone 12 lb. If i get under 10 stone before the British Masters Cross Country i will treat myself to some Mizuno Wave Rider 12 training shoes, and they have a good colour scheme this year.
