Three Weeks Out.

Three weeks ago I took a week off from running and visited my sports therapist to try and get some information  on my injured ankle, it appears nothing too serious is wrong and it's probably a related problem from the main injury which I did some eight months ago. After a week off I then had a week on very limited  running and my ankle actually felt better but it was still not quite right so last week I took a further week off from training altogether seeing as I was on  holiday in Gran Canaria and besides it felt way too hot to even think about running.  I took full advantage of the all inclusive package and just about ate and drank enough stuff to last me six weeks when on normal rations, I'm now way over weight and will struggle massively with my run to work tomorrow morning but I do feel fresh and keen to get started on another comeback. The Wetherby 10k is just under two weeks away and I will be doing it even if I have to crawl round, I'm in a very poor shape compared to previous years but I'm looking forward to the race non the less and  it will be good to see exactly what my fitness level is at or should I say not at.
