No running.

The old feet felt slightly better today so at least I'm heading in the right direction now. After a sleepless night with an eye infection and sore feet I won't have any problems nodding off tonight. A few day away from running and I can feel depression slowly creeping up on me, God knows how I'll cope when I retire from running.
The maximum weight lifting session went well and brought some enjoyment after a miserable couple of days especially as another three personal bests were achieved, carrying on like this I had better switch from long distance running to the shot put. My old biking buddy texted me today asking when I will be venturing out on my bike for my annual cycle club training run. I think he enjoys all the attacking riding that I seem to bring out of the other riders instead of the usual training ride round the countryside chatting to each other. I always said if you can talk your not trying hard enough. I remember going out on Sundays clocking up 60 to 90 miles with my mate Darren and when I got back home the wife would say what did Darren have to say. Err ! Bloody Hell Its Windy , That was F***ing steep , See you next week. Five hours and hardly any words spoken, who needs words when expressions can tell you everything you need to know. So August is looking good for the bike ride as I will be staying away from running races that month.
