Of all the injuries to put me out of action, one little toe does the job. Each morning I wake up and my first reaction is to wiggle that toe to see if it's any better. I'm sure the thing is getting worse rather than better which is frustrating the hell out of me. Today I was forced into resting to give the toe some time to repair but if it's no better in the morning I swear I'm going to make the damn thing suffer properly.
The lads xbox 360 has kept me entertained for some time especially playing online against other world one maniacs. Even that becomes frustrating as you keep getting killed, I will have to find a more relaxing hobby to ease the stress away I think.
At least I will be able to go to the gym on Thursday evening where I might as well try some of my new ideas knowing that when you try something new you are going to ache like hell the next few days afterwards and now seems as good as time as any with no races for a few weeks.
I keep getting strong urges to go and have a go at a bike race, my annual return to cycling for one race is calling. A circuit race, time trial or even a good old club run to see how I'm going will do. I will have to invite Ian Fisher of Otley AC along with one of his bikes to see how his biking is coming along.
