Back in Action.

Day by day I have been jogging along and getting further and further before my legs start to stiffen back up which is a very similar feeling to that of the last few miles running a marathon but I managed to run the full 7 miles to work this morning with no problems what so ever. I will definitely be 100% fit for the Kirkby Malzeard 10k this Saturday which is part of the Blacksheep Race Series.
I have now decided to enter the Dublin Marathon at the end of October which will give me something to aim for and focus on, it should also help to make the winter training seem shorter than usual. I will be having another go this year at some indoor track races and I like the idea of having a crack at 1500mtrs as well as the 3000mtrs which I did this year. Cross country races will still be on my menu and I have already selected and purchased my spikes, how's that for being keen ?
The funny thing is I have just got back to being able to run and now I need to take it easy ready for Saturday. Sitting about waiting for something to happen does my head in.
