Hobble - Walk - Jog

I moved on from hobbling after three days and I have just about managed the art of walking again after the marathon and from tomorrow I will be progressing onto jogging. My main target is to be in shape ready for my next race in the Blacksheep Championship which is a week tomorrow with the race being the Kirkby Malzeard 10k.
Normally after running a marathon it takes me around 6 months to get over it mentally but I'm already keen and planning on another marathon for later on in the year. Nottingham, Dublin and Amsterdam or just a few of my options. I'm sure I will enjoy my next marathon even more as there will be less pressure on myself to put in a really good performance as I'm already happy with my run at Edinburgh.
Some cross training on the bike has come in handy yet again as I found I could cycle ok even though I couldn't walk properly. The only problem I have found at the moment is that with being unable to do any running I have substituted the running for eating which won't do me much good for any races in the near future.
I feel like my running season has just started but as other years I will ending my season at the end of July. Strictly no racing and reduced training for August keeps me from over training and also stops me from getting the fed up with running syndrome which I suffered one year.
