No Jolly Holly Jog 10k race for me tomorrow but I'm off out for a run for the first time in over two weeks with club mate Phil Utley. I will be very interested to see how the ankle manages running tomorrow morning but even if it's not too bad I will resist the temptation to rush into any serious training until the 2nd week in January at the earliest. I will also finally get a go with my Garmin gps watch tomorrow not that the information will be of much use to me seeing as most of the run is off road.
I'm dreading getting on the scales some time this week as I'm sure I must be at least 10lb above my race weight and I know it will take forever to get rid of but the sooner I make a start the better.
