I'm not waiting for New Years Day to get started on my new campaign today is the day. I have had enough of beer, junk food, peanuts, chocolates, mince pies and generally taking it easy. With my ankle now improving daily it has boosted my moral and I can see light at the end of the tunnel, I will weigh in tomorrow morning to see what damage I have done and bring in my new training ideas for the 2011 season.
I will venture down to the gym shortly and try out the ankle on the treadmill with a speed session but I won't be giving it anywhere near 100% it's more of a fitness test, it's a case of gathering as much data up as possible and comparing it to the last 5 years of data I have gathered up to find out what fitness level exactly I am at and how long it's going to take to reach my peak performance level. My weight training ability is as good as it's ever been and I will be trying to add some different exercises to try and improve a bit more yet.

Go Gary! Wishing you race domination in 2011. RB.
I can only manage half hour at the moment before the ankle starts to ache too much, but at least I can run again.
All the best to Mr and Mrs Running Bears for 2011. Godspeed.
