Near enough.

After months of not being able to do any structured training I managed a full week of training with only slight ankle discomfort but at least I felt I can get back into some sort of regular training. Last week I notched up 60 miles and for the next few weeks after that I will be aiming to run around the same I would of liked to of notched the mileage up slightly but with all the Bank Holidays coming up I will have to make do with 60 miles aweek.
The ankle is looking like it's going to take another 6 months at least before it's back somewhere near what it should be but near enough is good enough for me at the present time to start planning some future races. The Rainton 10k is my main focus for the time being, with it being a good 10 weeks away I should make some vast improvements from now and then.
Sunday I took on a hilly 16 miler which has left my legs muscles a bit stiff today but believe me that's a great feeling to have aching leg muscles instead of having to nurse a stiff ankle.
