The come back trail. Part 1

I have spent nearly a full week as if I'm about to starve to death in my quest to loose some weight and I was rewarded with a massive 0 lb loss, there should of been a one in front of that zero at least for the effort I put in trying to loose weight. But I'm not giving in just yet and will try again next week and by God I had better loose some weight or else I'm going to show that body who's boss and force feed it some lovely pies, steak pies, chicken pies, mince and onion pies, pie full of pies, ooops ! I mean nothing but salad and fruit.
I completed a fast tempo run of 7 miles this evening and recorded a time 3 minutes 30 seconds slower than my best  so by my reckoning I should be capable of doing a 35 minutes 10k at the moment which is around a minute quicker than what I was capable of 4 weeks ago. My aim will therefore be to knock a minute off each month over the next couple of months so that I should be capable of running the Thirsk 10 mile race at the end of November  in 55 minutes.
Unfortunately I didn't make it to the gym yesterday  for my second weekly dose of weight training as I couldn't find my gym membership card anywhere, I should be on the Penn and Teller magic show the way I can make things disappear.
