I had a last minute switch of training this morning and instead of a steady 20 miler I opted for a two hour trail run which in the end turned out to be the correct decision as I totally enjoyed the scenic route around Sutton Bank and Gormire Lake.
The speed training this week will either be option 'A' a hard treadmill session or option 'B' another visit to the sports complex at Knayton which makes for good Cross Country Training and I also get the chance to wear my new cross country shoes in at the same time, at the moment option 'B' is well ahead on the enjoyment scale.
Tomorrow's training is a bit of a mix bag with a 7 mile run, 7 miles on the bike and finishing with a good 40 minutes of weight training, I missed out on my weight training sessions last week so I'm sure my muscles will know about it come Tuesday morning.
Leeds 10k or Thirsk 10 miler with both races being on the 20th November another decision needs to be made sooner rather than later to make sure of an entry but just as I think I have made my mind up I go and change it again the next day.
