Refueled

I am now fully rested and now i can enjoy the hard training ahead back to full fitness. I managed a couple of hard 5 mile runs but that was all. I think i must of been on the verge of total exhaustion because the first few days on holiday i managed to get eleven hours of sleep each night either that or i'm turning into a right lazy sod. On one of the days i went for an easy 2 1/2 mile jog followed by 2 1/2 mile quicker run on the return leg. But there was quite a few runners around and if i saw one ahead i couldn't help but try and catch and beat them. So the run ended up being quite a fast 5 miler instead.
Fully rested and fully refueled with that energy drink also known as Lager and even more over weight than before but the main thing now is i'm feeling alot more enthusiastic, which is the most important part i think.
I can't see myself doing any good over the next 5 or 6 weeks at races but i'll be there ready to suffer anyway. My next race is the Cross Country Race at Middlesbrough so that should be a good hard test and then the Northern 10 mile Championships at the end of the month. It's a shame i won't be in top form but i'll be back.
