Feeling Fresh.

I'm feeling really fresh and i can't believe it's almost Christmas, the Winter training season is almost over. The only problem being that i have missed another weekend of training with family commitments and Christmas parties. My revised plan now is to suffer through races in January come early February and then get the miles in the following months from there in preparation for the Edinburgh Marathon, to be honest it's probably better that way, the only draw back is being out of form for the start of the New Year but it's a small price to pay to run a good marathon later in the season.
Even though i have been missing out on all the long weekend runs i'm actually still improving slightly week by week so when i do manage to get stuck in to some serious mileage, hopefully big gains will start to appear.
May be it's the start of the decline when your Long weekend runs turn in to the Long weekend lie-ins. And any excuse will do for not going out for another training run. I had to install a T.V. aerial, the Christmas Lights needed to be put up, i had to go Christmas shopping. Bloody hell ! What's happening. I'm sure the Spartans wouldn't of acted like this. I think i need to watch 300 Spartans one more time for inspiration.
