Cramping time.
In the end I never managed to get my midweek long run in due to some stressful kitchen refitting and decorating but instead I made do with some hard speed sessions. The first of which was on Wednesday which I went for some 300 metre eye balls out intervals with a couple of minutes jog recovery in between with twelve to do, I don't think my muscles were used to the all out speed and come night time and the following night I had some fantastic cramping sessions, the sort were no matter how you reposition your leg or stretch it the pain just continues. Then today instead of the hour uphill training I went for a hour of tempo training which was just a bit slower than my 10 mile race pace followed up with a good old sauna session which now leaves me in the right frame of mind for a good steady long run tomorrow. More of the enjoyment training will be my main focus tomorrow rather than trying to push the pace along as there is along time yet until the London Marathon.
