Since Friday I have been doing a kitchen refit along with decorating so the week ahead will be a case of making the training up as I go along. Todays long run was scrapped and instead I switched to doing a hour of speed training but just to make sure I wasn't having it too easy I opted for my most dreaded session which is nine minutes hard with with three minutes jog recovery in between with four of these to do, the final two reps are a real test of mental strength to complete the same distance. My training must be working as I am now nearing some of my training PB's so I can luck forward to maybe a mid week long run (time allowing) knowing it's not all for nothing.
I can't believe how good the weather has been for a change which is typical seeing as I have not been racing. On the positive side it makes the training all that much easier with the cold sunny days so I had better make the most of them.
