Ready to burn.

The speed session tonight went really well and it looks like the afterburner is back to full power. I matched my all time best 23km/h speed session and that just leaves me with the task of fine tuning my cruising speed. I was already looking forward to this coming weekends race and now I'm starting to think maybe I could win it.
I also did some tweaking on my winter training program to make sure the training is more enjoyable rather than a task, which I now feel is a key factor to get the best out of myself. I have written down a few more ideas for the new year which I will try out, as I have said before even though it's a marathon every second counts.
After looking at the weather report it's looking like Sunday should be an excellent day for racing, cold and sunny. For the last couple of years it has been freezing cold rain so a bit of sunshine will do me just fine.
