Snow Chance

    I get myself all fired up for tomorrows Thirsk 10 mile race and now it's looking very unlikely to go ahead due to some overnight snow. Last weekend was bad enough wondering if I would get to race or not with the bad ankle and this weekend has turned into a will or won't it theme as well. I was hoping the sun might melt the compacted snow off the road but it's still  -1 degrees out there so it's not looking good and with more snow expected this evening it's getting even more less likely. Not only is it annoying to miss out on a race it's also annoying that you have wasted days that could of been spent training, on a positive note at least a rest should leave me feeling fresh if the race does get cancelled.
