2011 Design.

Just like in Formula 1 winter is a time for rebuilding and modifying and trying to be faster when the new season starts. For next year I have built a larger mid section for some extra down force, in the engine department I am in the process of gaining some extra horse power, the transmission is looking like I will have to stick to last years design which was the same as the year before and the one before that, it's not the fastest transmission out there but I have found it to be very reliable. The engine management could do with a new chip as it seems to use way too much energy on the launch control rather than being more evenly balanced throughout the race, on a positive side it can really get every last bit of energy out of that aging engine.
Even the gym workers are trying my mental strength at the moment as they seem unable to even switch a bloody sauna on, 5 weeks out of 6 they have managed to fail in this simple task. You need to ask two or even three times before it sinks into their skulls, they must think I have plenty of spare time on my hands if they think I can wait 1/2 hour for it to warm up each time.
The training session went well with more new ground covered, hopefully all this higher level training on the treadmill will convert into some better road race times and to be honest I can't see why it shouldn't. I have entered the Northern Indoor 3000mtr Championships which will be a nice relaxed event for myself to see how my top end speed is coming along, I will be hoping to improve on last years time and will be targeting a sub 9 minute performance. After that race all my next races are very important to me as I build towards being in peak performance ready for the London Marathon, I will be attempting to get some PB's along the way at 3000mtr, 10k, 10 mile and half marathon as all these races are on good fast course.
