It has been some time since I managed to get out on a Sunday for my long run and today was no exception, too much beer at last nights works Christmas do left me feeling a bit rough this morning to say the least but I did eventually make it down to the gym for a weight training session. I'm looking forward to getting a twenty miler in next Sunday and even more so as I still have my new GPS watch to try out and get used to. Due to missing so many long runs recently it might actually benefit me in the end for my marathon training as come January when the time for long runs becomes a must do I will be fresh and keen to get the long run done which makes running a lot more enjoyable.
