All Round.

My keep fit campaign seems to be going well with all round improvements in the running and weight training departments. Today I managed an hour of hill training on the treadmill with the aim of gauging what fitness level I'm presently at and it's the fittest I have been in 2012 so I will now try and match last years fitness level which shouldn't be too difficult. Wednesday I managed to team up with Phil Utley for an interval session at Knayton sports field, my first thoughts were to try and hang as long as possible seeing as I was lacking in the speed training department but luckily enough I managed to keep up which did wonders for my morale.
Tomorrow is another weekend without a long run as I'm off for a stroll around the local hills for a mere three hours, should be able to notch up ten miles in that time with three biggish climbs, along way off my last trek of forty seven miles but all focus is on enjoyment and hopefully my dog will be tagging along as well if it manages to drag itself out of bed.
