Hard as Hills

My legs were quite stiff yesterday after the hard interval training so I was more than surprised to find that my legs didn't feel too bad this morning so I thought to myself that  I might as well and try and beat last weeks hill training session. Usually these days I need a good warm to get any stiffness out of my muscles and especially more so the day after a good hard training session but not so today I was straight up to speed and raring to go.  The thought of having some toast afterwards as a treat when I get home if I manage to succeed certainly helps with the task in hand or I should say underfoot. That hot toast with butter on went down a treat so no need to mention any more about the hill training.
Back to some weight training tomorrow to give my legs a bit of a break before I take on my next idea of a shorter faster time trial of 1 1/2 miles. It's a funny old distance but it's what the armed forces used to make me do as their fitness test. I have definitely lost plenty of my top end speed so I will be expecting to do it in 7 mins 40 secs. I'm already looking forward to Tuesday to see what I can do.
