THE END.

The end has come for faffing around and now it's time to get started on building the all new 2011 war machine. As far as I'm concerned the ankle is just about back to full health and I'm so sick of mentioning the damn thing the word ankle is now banished from this blog.
I managed a full hour of some good hard uphill training on the treadmill and I'm now positive that I will make it to the start of the Dewsbury 10k in two weeks time. I need to find what level of fitness I'm exactly at and the best way to do that is give it everything in a race, I will be happy with any position as I know I will give 100% and to be honest I just can't wait to get back racing.
London Marathon - If all goes well from now then their should be no reason why I shouldn't make it to the London Marathon in peak condition. Another race I have entered is the Great North West Half Marathon which will make for an excellent marker in my progress towards the marathon, I won't be pussy footing around either I will be trying my bloody hardest to win it, I need to be just about collapsing over that finishing line with exhaustion. I will be also running twenty mile plus training runs and flogging myself back home for the last three or four miles as I know all to well how hard and how important those last six miles of a marathon are.
